What did you do to your Maverick or Comet today

    My cluster is out right now and I want to put those bulbs in before installation.....what bulbs were they and where did you buy them?????

    I got the bulbs at Autozone. They are Sylvania brand 194 bulbs in "cool white" color. I bought three bulbs and I think they were $7.99 each. They had a bulb that was a couple bucks more that was "white" but I think it is too bright. I also painted the insides white before reinstalling the cluster. I am very happy with the outcome.

    Thanks chip! It was a total PITA to put in with my wiper delay system...but I got it all worked out!

    Good the only thing is to painted I took 2 weeks vac. Need to finish and RTD2 first for a good friend of mine and then finish my louvers tanks for asking

    Fixed my horn cover and put my new alternator on. Still a little stumped on putting the belt on but I'll figure it out.

    I installed three gauges in a pinto console under the dash. Then I discovered that my thermostat was not working because the temp liked to stay at the 130 degree area. New thermostat installed! I painted the metal behind the gauges a satin black before final installation.
