Bought a carberator Sat. at VMP,guy is best friends with the owner of the track.He got me a pass & I got in free,it was the PDRA World finals.You talk about some sick cars,3.5 sec. at 200 mph in the 1/8,unreal,the place was packed.All kind of records were broken,in top sportsman the bump was 4.12,over 100 entries in that class alone,I`ve never seen that many cars there.Other than the Jr dragsters there probably was not an engine out there that did not cost less than $50,000,a lot of the top engine builders were on the starting line,Charlie Buck,Pat Musi,Fulton & someone said Sonny was there.Almost no small blks. everything 500 to 800ci,it was so odd to watch the supercharged cars that were really loud & then see pretty quiet turbo cars run the same times.I only stayed about 4 hrs because I needed to get up to Richmond before it got to late because I was trading the carb I bought for a better one.I still had a great time & watching all the Pro Mods was awsome.
