The cost of tooling up for full quarters would be astronomical. A long time ago when I had several OEM quarters I talked to AK to see if their source for body panels would be interested in just reproducing the back section from the body line down. In my opinion a lot more people would buy then as opposed to full quarters. AK said they were not interested. Perhaps NPD might be.

Dynacorn is our only hope on these. They tooled up for fenders, so I imagine they will eventually do quarters.

they have tooled up for fenders, hoods, front valance and stone guards/grill filler. i imagine that took some $$$$, if they make them i would buy a set, doors would be a sure bet for me too

They ARE rare . I found a set here in Florida with the Inner Fender Wheel Well pieces also . Mine are Black primer
and I've put them up in the attic of the shop . I hope Dynacorn is the future manufacturer . They seem to do a good
job on their items. No cheap foreign stuff with holes and seams that never line up . Buy American !!

I have bought two pair of NOS quarters in the last 5 years. Paid $500 for each one.

They are rare, but if patient and keep looking they pop up now and again.

Isn't the Dynacorn stuff made overseas?

Dynacorn is also now making front fenders! And yes, I agree. Dynacorn would be an excellent source to try. I never thought I'd see grabber hoods and fenders but they now make both in steel.

Good luck with getting someone to reproduce them. I think Dynacorn bought old probably worn out dies from back in the day and is reproducing panels from that. The cost to retool for any Maverick/Comet panel wouldn't pay for itself, if they had 1/4 panel dies I'm sure they would reproduce them. Reproduction never fits like O.E.M. because the dies are long worn out. For now I'm hanging onto the 5 N.O.S. ones I have.

They have made all new tooling, and from what I saw with the hood the fit is spot on. Yes OEM would always be preferred, but what they are offering is really well made.

I'm so happy to see that parts are slowly starting to be made for these cars, I remember 6 years ago when I originally started working. 6 years ago it would have been nice to find some of these things.
