Those that have installed a Weber DGEV or DGAV carburetor with an adapter on the 200 or 250 six, what size jets did you use?

    Thanks!

The Webers I used to run are up in the attic and I would have to pull them apart to see what are in them.

I recall having to buy several jets and experiment. Thankfully, they are pretty simple to swap out. Just be careful removing the C clip on the choke plate. It is easy to lose.

I learned the hard way that you need to pay attention to jetting. I was getting some pinging under load and hard acceleration. Also, my temps were going up. I thought it was timing but it turned out it was running lean. I ate up some valve guides before figuring this out.

If I were to do it again, I would put a wideband Q2 sensor in and monitor it for best tune.

This is a good reference book: http://www.books-by-isbn.com/0-89586/0895863774-Weber-Carburetors-Pat-Braden-0-89586-377-4.html

There are endless combinations - it would be nice to narrow down the playing field.
