That is how long I have had my 72 Comet. I got it May 1992. Hard to believe .... Made think ... next year, I will have owned my first electric guitar for 50 years. Doesn't seem possible ...
My '71 has been in the family for 25 years! My father bought it June 1992. I've only had it a few months though.

Wow...after reading your post...it dawned on me that I've owned my 72 since 1987! 30 years...dang...time flies. I'd have to go back and check pics to know for sure when I got the 71...its been a while though lol.
Tom, yes time does fly and so does your 72. I bought my 72 on February 29 2008 so it has only had 3 birthdays with me as the owner, easy to remember being a leap year
We have a friend who is a leap year baby. She just turned "13". At her party, she got presents that would be appropriate for that age.
