Does anyone know off-hand what type of bulb is in the steering column for the automatic shift indicator light? I need to order some LEDs and don't want to have to breakdown the steering wheel again until I get the LEDs if I can help it, and I can't find the info in the shop manuals or by searching the forums.

Also, is there anything other than the three screws holding the turn signal switch in place? When I had the steering wheel broke down the other day (mostly for access to the dash and gauges) I took out the screws in the switch and it seemed something was still holding it down. Dealing with the bulb was at the bottom of a very long list of things to do so I moved on and forgot about it until everything was bolted back in.

Turn signal stalk also has to come out.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I did have that out. IIRC, What was stuck felt like something spongy along the bottom. Maybe the wires attach on the back side; I don't remember looking for the wire connection. But it seemed a little scary pulling too hard; It didn't want to move much. At least, that's what I remember. I'll have to get it loose again the end of the week or next week when the bulbs get here. Thanks.

Thank you. I've now got all the rest of my bulbs ordered and on the way. Hopefully, the amber LEDs will also improve the lighting on the cheapo Sunpro tri-gauges.
