    Yeah, time has been at a premium for both of us. I closed on the house last month, so that bit of business is behind me now. I'm looking forward to seeing you, and maybe we can find some time later in the summer to go to a show or two. I'm finally getting the car out of the garage and starting to get it ready for the trip to Somerset. See you there!!!

    Anyone going to the Gathering have an extra wood grain non-AC dash plaque they want to sell? I'm looking for a real nice show car quality piece to replace the one I have now. Mine has a few small blisters under the chrome that catches my eye.

    Mike, I got your bumper brackets packed ready for the ride.

    Heading out the door in about an hour. First stop, Louisville, Ky for the weekend. Then, a couple of days at my sister's in my home town of Hodgenville, Ky. Then on to Somerset on Wednesday. Safe trips to all, especially you, Mike.

    Patches is acting out...
    Thursday I parked in front of the shop, an hour or so later went to put it up and had nothing at the start side of the switch. we pushed it in the shop and found the ing. starter wire bad. fixed it and all was good.
    today it was parked outside the shop and when Effie started it up to pull it in it died...pushed it in and found the E-fuel pump was running but no pressure. pulled it and found the hose from the discharge side of the pump was melted. the gas in the tank had eaten it up. going tomorrow and get a hose to replace it. having a drain plug in the tank made it a breeze to work on...:yup:

    leaving Monday morning for Ky...:drive::chirp:

    What a hot trip it has been, every where we have been the temp has reached at least 95 and one leg of the journey it hit 106 and that was in Oregon. Made to the Oklahoma west border today still a long ways to go but getting on I 40 sped things up a lot
