This part will only fit cars with FLOOR SHIFTERS. This rod is for FACTORY floor shift cars and are needed when converting over to a FACTORY floor shift. Added it to my Watch List on eBay. When we put my shifter in the car, I took two Pinto shifter rods, cut them to a length where the two pieces would work, and my buddy welded them together. He was muttering about hating welding wrought iron and worrying it would stay together. He did a good job, but getting the right piece still sounds like a great idea. Hoping I placed the shifter in the right spot on the tunnel .... good thing there is a long slot for shifter adjustment. Thanks for your help getting this done Craig.
