I'm using points as well, the TFI module doesn't recognize the output of a Duraspark dist...

Since orig pict I did tidy wiring a little & bead blast the heat sink, then reinstalled same module with fresh heat compound... Pict reminded me I still have to install one of the mounting screws...

Getting ready to head to Dayton MCCI -RU Thursday. I had an issue a few weeks ago, my HVAC blower quit working. Well, the cause was determined to be the blower resistor. Order one for early Mustang to replace it. It was slightly different size, but some mods were made to make it fit. In the process I decided to insulate the front floorpans w/ something to get the temps in the foot-well down to a comfortable place. I had a temp of 125+ on the bare metal that attached the steering column to the floor pan. Solution - Menard's dbl foil faced #1613551 and BFX reflective tape "no peal and seal". Temps reduced at the column by 25+ degrees.
Took the car out for a test today -- HVAC working great.
Hopefully, can set sail for Dayton tommorrow.

Arrived home Sunday from the MCG Gathering, and had no issues with the car. Almost 1,000 miles total round trip, and got almost 22mpg. Had a blast!

Had a leaky radiator repaired, added a Taurus electric fan. I didn't trust the Temp idiot light, so I added a Water temp gauge, and while I had the cluster out, replaced the 3 factory cluster bulbs with led. Huge difference.

Finished removing front suspension to make room for new control arms, Granada disc brakes, and new coil springs (moog 8088). The old springs were cut so much they were completely uncompressed when the car was off the ground. On its wheels, the suspension was a finger away from the stops. Ick. Still debating the Shelby drop on a 74.
