Hello guys, I'm back after a long time! Just bought a 70 and I'm trying to find some info or help. Couldn't find exactly what I'm looking for in the search. I'm hoping someone with a 70 non a/c can snap a picture under driver side dash looking up at the cowl. I believe something is missing. I'm missing the floor ducting from the box that I know of now. None of my books or Google have been much help. There's a hole in the cowl on driver side the same as on the passenger side where the heater box pulls in fresh air. What's missing ? If I can get picture to upload this is on the driver's side above the fuse box to the left or right if you're on your back looking up.

Thanks Frank, is it possible to get a picture or a link to a diagram? That way I know what it looks like. Did any other Ford's come with the same thing or something close?

The A/C cars also had the air vent on drivers side so it shouldn't be too hard to find, probably would have to be from a Maverick for proper fit

Cool thanks. Now it looks like I'm missing something else... What does that cable go into?
This is my first early Mav, I've had 7 and the oldest before this was a 74 it didn't have vents like this one. Heater box was different as well.

I checked it out but didn't see a knob in the 12 pictures. Thank you very much. Would be nice to see in a car set up just for easy reference.

I see that now, it mounts to bottom side of cowl just like the heater box, also needs the foam gasket or make one. someone will have to take a pic of it without the dash in otherwise you wont see how it mounts

my A/C 73 didn't have the hole for the manual vent...
I was under the impression A/C cars didn't have the driver side vent...

My 69 1/2 does, assumed they all did, my parts cars both had them, 73 non A/C and 72 A/C both were busted up so did not keep them, one cable and knob was it
