so i ordered some wheels from wheel vintiques off the jegs site. after placing the order i got an email a few days later saying they were out of stock and wouldnt be shipped until mid october. this was about 3 months ago.

now i get another email saying they wont ship until mid december.

im not physically able to do anymore work on my car right now, so its not an issue, but im wondering how in the world are wheels out of stock for that long??? am i wrong in thinking they should have a few sets ready at all times, OR shouldnt a new set be able to be made in a week or so for shipping??

what am i missing here? these are magnum 500s btw.

Are they made by Crager? I had to call them last week about a custom order, and they said they are not taking orders right now because they are so back logged. They said they moved all their manufacturing from the west coast to the east coast and they are way behind. Will probably be next spring before I can get mine made, they said.

I would bet Crager makes them for Wheel Vintiques.

Probably a good idea. I don't know if they are connected to Crager or not, but at least they can tell you what the delay is ..........

well, i got busy and didnt call the wheel company yet, but im going to today. got an email again from jegs saying the delivery date has been moved for the 3rd time to jan 8 2018. i asked them to figure out why. all they could tell me was the company told them the next order was scheduled for that date. this is getting ridiculous.
