I'm not going to say they are all like this because I hate putting my foot in my mouth. I started stripping out this car today and saw the following. The car is factory AC but the heater/ac box is totally different than the rest of the cars. Even though it is fact ac, it has the drivers side air vent just like non ac cars. Also, I thought they all had 4 bolt ball joints but this one has 3 bolt.

My 69.5 also has the drivers side air vent, it has factory A/C. It also has the 3 hole ball joints, I just replaced mine last week. Also something is different about the steering arm on the bottom of the steering box, I found this out when putting those tri-y headers on. They came off of a 72 Maverick but when I put them on mine the steering arm hit them. I had to dimple them to clear about a half inch. My shocks are not staggered like the laster models either.

O.K....I give up.....what is different about the AC box? I don't see anything different.
