Due South TV show and Mavericks and Comets.

In a first season episode of the popular TV show Due South, A Maverick was featured but billed as a 77 Comet. It looked to be a 1973 Maverick. The episode was called Pizza and promises. It aired on October 20th 1994 when I was 9. I remember my dad saying while laughing, "that's not a Comet that's a Maverick". And thus began my love for all things Maverick. I wanted to know what the heck a Maverick was!
