New steering column

    Does anyone know where I can get a new steering column for my 1973 mercury comet.
    Non-column shift, does not have to have turn signal or wiring, preferably black but not necessary since I can paint it, fits model 1973, has steering lock assembly already in it.

    I found a 73 cougar/Mustang column. Would that work?

    Nope, the columns are maverick/comet specific either have to find a used one or modify an aftermarket one.

    You can use the part on the mustang column to make yours a floor shift if thats all your looking for.

    1974 Ford Maverick 4 door 302 disk brakes AC power steering car
    I found one that supposedly fits the Mavericks on Ebay. The brand is Top End Steering. It is the floor shift version and it's black. SKU 1584380. Has anybody messed with one of these? Price is good at $226.
