Make sure you get the right adhesive, I used the wrong stuff once and when it got hot tje headliner loosened up.

sounds tricky, i bought adhesive special for headliner from a factory for upholstery items. Hope this is the right one
could be a good idea to test it before.

You're smarter than I am, I just bought 3M spray adhesives and paid the price when summer came!

Ups - 3M is normally a good company in adhesives goods, i bought liquid adhesive to use with a normal brush. But i have to wait until the temperatures are comes a little bit up in the night we have 32°F and in the noon we could get 59°F. I like to have a little bit more temp. so that the vinyl becomes more flexible.

Will do some pics, after i get my plates ;-) , at the moment the car is still complete – it runs fine, brakes are working, but there´s an issue with the electric. Only one brake light works, turn signal works an the front left side and on the backside right, also both front turn lights shine when you push the brake pedal, hazard switch doesn’t work. Such “little” things are still open at the Moment.
