    Howdy folks. :tiphat:

Newbie joining up. Transitioning hobbies from riding motorbikes to classic cars. Always loved the Mavericks/Comets and earlier Falcons/Comets/Fairlanes. Shopped for a few weeks and settled on this gorgeous specimen. Having this ginger beauty delivered from the east coast. Shipper should be picking it up soon. I anticipate spending a lot of time on this forum. I've already found lots of great info.

    Cheers! :beerchug:

Looks good, T5 conversion? I see what looks like a Mustang Steve cable conversion?

Welcome to the site from northeast Ohio, love your enthusiasm!!! :tiphat:

You are off to a good start with that car.

Once you receive the Comet make a posting in the "Garage" section of this site with more pictures and detail.

Yep, T5 with Hurst shifter. Not sure on the cables.

    Hello neighbor. I'm in Sacramento.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'll add it to the garage section with more pics once it gets here.

    Welcome from VA!

I have also seen that car several times. I tried to get a good friend of mine to buy it a few years back. Definitely a nice car!

    Congrats!

Very nice car! I would definitely add the cowl to shock tower braces back to the car though...
