Can anyone recommend a fuel pump to replace this one I just wasted money on? This is what was ordered from the parts place and I knew when I saw it that not only was it not like the original bit it was probably going to have clearance issues.....to which it does. I sure dont need the sway bar busting this and sprewing gas everywhere.

Bit pricy but after having 3 stock pumps fail from the parts store I got this. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/edl-1725/make/ford 5k miles later no issues at all.
What year did you buy that for? Trucks and earlier Ford's used that style pump. My 73 didn't come with one like that.
