If you don't have factory PS this is probably the best, most practical way to go. Rack & pinion probably little more involved. If you have PS you can always rebuild. I'm assuming you have seen my thread mentioned above post?
I did have to add some shims to UCA arms to caster out to 3+ deg. Also, If you go this route you may have to add some shims to the pressure inlet to decrease sensitivity, if you use their Saginaw pump. Borg offers shim kits for this purpose. My pump came w/ 2 shims, wound up adding 3 or 4 more -- don't recall if 3 or 4.

Forum member "Cometized " Chip also uses the Borg setup, but he uses Saginaw GenII style pump and told me he didn't have any issues, did not have to add shims to reduce sensitivity.

Mojo thank you to take the time to write about this set up I would take in consideration your comments and yes my maverick has factory p/s the reason I like to install this setup to have more clearance for the headers and little cleaner under the car

My car is also PS; I found their hoses too short for my comfort, wound up having new pressure hose made and extended the return line. I used the stock PS drag link. I had long tube headers when I installed Borg., have shorties now. My car has OE floor shift - so, no issue w/ linkage clearance. I had to slightly modify the steering column plate where it mounts to floor board. Using this setup really cleans up the under hood & under car.
