Is this the 1 you used https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/262259412330
I used this one. Scary cheap, but worked well. I put a piece of a brass union in the back of the MC to take up the slack between the booster and the MC piston. https://www.ebay.com/itm/7-Single-D...541571?hash=item20f0c73903:g:2dIAAOSw3d1TzoUO
Yes. I only drove the car a few miles while it was manual drums. It had so many things wrong with it at that time that I cant recall how well it stopped....but with discs and that little booster it stops great. If you go that route, make a good template for your holes. I also had to elongate the holes on my MC slightly to fit the spacing of the studs on the booster. I used the proportioning block that was on the car and a Maverick MC for power disc/drum from rock auto. had to mess with the brake lines a little bit too. I did this over two years ago, and I remember it being a pain to bolt on under the dash, but eventually got it. Also had to use a die grinder to make some holes a little bigger. I think I had to get a close quarter drill too. I also remember wishing my engine was out, lol.
