I was thinking about it and the TCP coil over conversion kit would work and look EXTREMELY nice with that wheel/tire combo!! Just something to think about!!!:D ;) Although, it would give you infinite ride height adjustment in the front!!

I would really like to see some more pictures as well. It looks VERY GOOD! I plan for big rims and low stance on mine as well. I have a ways to go though...I only started my T5 install today!

how much..and what do i have to weld and fab? i still have to do the brake conversion so i was also thinking spindels.. fat man? any suggestions? and if spindels what do i tell wilwood?

i'm gonna lower the car some more with or without them... i just rolled it out today. i think it sits to high in the front. i like a bit of rake. the back is ready to be lowered some more but still haven't received my leaf springs yet... its been like 3 weeks!

well i would have had whole pictures of it today however still have no steering wheel not enough room to take picture of whole car in driveway.

as for T5 i'd like one of those in there too.. but don't got the time on the deadline im on. i'd like one of those richmond 6 speeds instead. thing is i know nothing about conversions when i comes to something like that. anyone wanna come over and do it for me? :D lol

For the price theyre asking, it better be gold plated! That is crazy! 2200 for the front and 3-5000 for the back!

nice stuff but a little out of my price range and even to ask them for sponsorship would take me out of the pojected time to finsh this car.. so granada spindels with wilwoods it is.

here a pic of the front with the car lowered a bit more. i'll get a full shot of the car maybe next weekend or so.

yes..old thread.. but im just doing my research here >> wondering if these 18s will fit on the back of a 72 Mav with 8.8 rear end. Its like black magic for me with the offsets and rear spacings.. >??

    18 x 8.0 5x114.3 1 inch offset w 5 5/8'' rear spacing..

That is really going to be hard to say without knowing how wide the replacement rear axle is. Having changed that, it sets the groundwork for offset specs.

Your tires won't have any sidewall with 18s. Not a good look or a good ride.
