What are people doing with their seat belt colors when they are changing interior colors? I have brown now and going to a charcoal color interior.

There is a company called Julianos that has a full line of seat belts. Some have buckles that are close to what our cars came with. They also have 3 point retractables, which is a big deal for my 72. My car came with the separate shoulder harness that was a pain to deal with.

Here is link to their website ....

I would not be dying the old belts, and frankly being 40 years old, I would question how strong the fabric and stitching are anyway.

Something else to think about is incorporating a drop for the front seat shoulder belts. If just anchored to the roof, they tend to come in quite high over your shoulder. I got my drops from a mid-1990s Ford church van, and they don't look out-of-place. They blend in well. They are hanging down in the upper corners in this picture.

I really appreciate the information. What about the rear seat belts? My car is a 73 and I have the retractable rear seat belts that go through the back plastic panel. I am also studying on these 2 web sites that were posted.

You can send in your rear retractable units and SeatBeltPlanet can put on new webbing to whatever new color you want, check your units and rebuild if necessary, to DOT standards and will have DOT label attached........
Give them a call, they are very familiar with our Mav/Comets, as many of us have dealt with them.

I will give them a call on webbing. All the hardware is in perfect condition. Thank you for the help.
