Picked up a set of headers to fit the AJE front end today, bought them from Erick with the red supercharged 9.5 deck race car. Thanks again Erick, don’t think I’ll ever need for a bigger set. Custom built, with individual cylinder egt bungs and O2 bungs in both collectors. Will post some pictures later.

Are they specific for the AJE?

Nice meeting you Mike! That's a nice car and I like what your doing with it. Looking good. Good luck with the build!

Mounted and balanced, I think I’ll run them without the center cap.

Installed with a few lugnuts as the new wheels use shank type.

Ordered door panels and package tray from Scott rod fabrications last week. Showed up today, and test fitted. They fit perfectly, I left the protective plastic sheeting on till they are drilled up and deburred. The finish is electroplated satin black and they are bead rolled 40 gauge aluminum.
Sorry for the poor pictures. Before and after for comparison.

Drilled up the passenger side door panel, and decided to back it with thermo-tec. Hope to get the rest installed today.

Door sounds nice and solid closing.

Also received the correct billet shank lug nuts for the new rear wheels yesterday.

    Installed a 347 to check fitment, and specifically a set of FPA 1 3/4” - 3” headers I had for a 68 mustang GT i sold.

The headers fit perfect with the AJE front end and have excellent ground clearance. I would recommend this as a good alternative if anyone else is running this front suspension.

I will send the headers out to be ceramic coated next week. Ordered them uncoated in case changes needed to be made. FPA is a great to deal with, call Stan if you need a set.

Very nice setup! Will you use stock core support?

That looks awesome! I wish my 347 had sat in my car with that much room.
