@Parkera101 - I have myself also bought 1970 maverick 2 weeks ago. a lot of work need to be done. I will have to change brake and fuel lines and I have no shifter and no exhaust system. I have been trying to find a cheap exhaust kit but it is very hard to find maverick exhaust kit.

No such thing as a Maverick exhaust kit! It will have to be custom made by one means or another...

Are you talking about the drum it’s self? Or the whole assembly? But you can buy them new on rock auto

I disassembled the front drum brake and the drum is tach welded to the 4 lug hub. Apparently this was a thing back in late 60s and 70 model Ford's...

I am a product of the 60's/70's and have never seen a drum welded to anything -- wonder why that was done. Interesting.

Generally drums were pressed onto hub, serviced as complete assembly.

Huh. I've seen drums rusted pretty badly to the hubs, but can't say I've seen them welded on. For one thing the hub is normally steel but the drums are normally cast iron.
