Correct type linkage

    Between the 2 of these which is the correct linkage? Mine fell off while I was driving today... Glad it was at the top of the hill not in the middle.
    From the one I recovered in the road it looks most like the black one. but maybe that's why it fell off. I only ask because the looped one is described as the ford one while the black one is described as the GM one. Screenshot_20191023-232343.png Screenshot_20191023-232319.png

    I’m pretty sure it’s the second. That’s the same one I had in an original setup and also the same/similar as the one I had on my 70 Mustang with 351.

    I've seen the first and some similar to second but not exactly like it.

    Most Fords have a stud that opening in first linkage will fit over. BUT apparently v8 is similar to second, rod is id as 7521.

    Thanks for replying. Sounds like either will work. I think I am getting the 2nd one.

    Heads up the bottom one was not long enough. Reused part of the first one to get the length right.
