I want to clean up the top of my engine a little bit. As of now i have the pcv hose running to the front full vacuum port on the carb.

The carb is a summit 600. Its the old holy 4010 design. iirc.

My question is, on the back of the carb at the base is a port for power brake vacuum which i dont use of course. Can i use this port for the pcv valve? The port is under the blades aand should be manifold vacuum correct? Is there any reason i shouldnt use this?

Yes, you can absolutely use that port for the PCV valve.
