1969 1/2 are the shocks both in front or both in the back on the rear end ?

All Mavericks/Comets I have seen are staggered with right front and left behind. If 69 did not have staggered, Ford typically mounted the rear shocks in front of the axle.

The shocks will be in front of the rear axle on a 69 1/2

Factory was non staggered on any rear end that is not an 8", so that would include all the 69.5 and early 1970's that had the 7 1/4" rear axle (or whatever size it was)

According to FMPC there was only one left shock/spring plate for '70. The right were same both '70 & '71 with part number for left changing in '71. Soooo using the catalog, none of the '70s had staggered shocks. Going on past info errors, this may or may not be correct.
