Guess it was my lucky day if both of you thought it was so clean. I have never done it so I really didn't know what to expect.

Can anyone point me to how to get the body trim off that runs along the edge of the vinyl? I got the trim on the drip edge off but not sure about the other stuff. I don't think I will use it again but someone might want it.

You will need to take out your rear seat. Once it is out remove the side panels need to the seat. Once they are out of the way you will be able to see the nuts that are holding the trim on.

One can access the nuts without removing any of the interior. Just reach them from inside the trunk.

Good tip. Thanks. I can see the nuts way up in there. I think I will be able to remove them from the trunk.

Pulled the tracks off my recently acquired seats. They need a good cleaning and a stud replaced. They are supposed to be from a Torino but can't verify that. There are metal tags on the springs, one with September 69 dates and the other with numbers that do not come up in a Google search.

Worked on the '70 today since we're still in the 80's and mostly sunshine. Adjusted the door latch on the passenger side. The rod down from the outside handle was too tight and was keeping the lock bar from resetting so the handles can release the door. Basically it was puling up a little on the lever and binding the lock bar keeping it from dropping back in place. Everything works great now. Painted up the interior door panels made from some 1/8" hardi-board. When those are dry tomorrow will install them.

Bomrat, Welcome to phoenix! Check out the sandbox forum we have below. We have a meet we're coordinating for December 14th. Of course, anyone visiting Arizona around that time is always welcome to join use as well.
