I had a 200 straight 6 bolted to a c4 automatic and 7.5 rear end. I am in the process of placing a mild (less than 300hp) 302 and c4 automatic and 8 rear end and was wondering if I would need a new driveshaft? I'm not looking to drag race or high rpms just a cool looking Walmart go getter. Any advice would be most appreciated. Thanks.

The D/S length for 2dr in '70, '71, & '72 with either 6 or V8 is same. Also includes the diameter, slip yoke and universal joints. The v8 and 6 cyl D/S do have different part numbers, but I see no reason they will not interchange.
