    I dropped mine off at the recycling center. I pulled it years ago and put a 250 in (that got replaced with a 5.0).
    I think that most people would upgrade to a 250 if they were keeping a straight six.

    Maybe someone out there is just trying to keep an old car running, maybe you could get $200 for it. What is the condition?

    I don't miss those days with an anemic 170 and a three on the tree.

    it ran really well. I didnt think it was worth much.

    Couple years ago, I sold a 200 for $250, that was just engine.

    I looked at a '62 Comet couple weeks ago with a 144, the 170 would be a upgrade. Falcons, early Fairlanes & even 64½ Mustang also used the 170.

    It will appreciate faster than the stock market.
