What did you do to your Maverick or Comet today

    Got the Maier racing pan hard bar kit installed and am overall very happy with the way it turned out, the kit is mostly bolt on with very little fab work. The most challenging portion was relocating the left rear shock from behind to in front of the axle, a custom shock mount solved that, I will get better pictures when it goes up on the lift for full exhaust in the coming weeks

    Got Comet loaded up today for autocross with the Porsche Group of Atlanta tomorrow. I’m slow but the Comet preforms quite well even with the Porsche’s . A first tomorrow is taking my new wheels.... my electric scooter so my walker will get limited use tomorrow Thank Goodness !!!! 595B8920-C06E-4AE1-9781-1EE691AA646B.jpeg

    What is the purpose of pan hard w/ leaf spring axle? I've only seen them on coil spring/coil-over equipped vehicles!

    Gives you control over the roll center of the rear suspension. Also locks the rear in position when using it in hard cornering.

    Put a new set of wheels and tires on, American racing VN510. 18x8 4.5BS 0 offset all around, front 245/40, rear 275/40

    inertia switch.....hmm...tried to fix brakes on the mav...,couldn't build up enough calories...however , told the wife I made the horn louder....

    Changed a starter solenoid, turns on and off great now, and changed a broken marker light/turn signal socket. Amd I looked it over wondering where all the smoke is coming from......

    Just today I was asking myself why on all 3 of the vehicles I use, none has a working horn.....and they cant be too hard to fix....lol.

    took the first step to installing the power windows...
    opened the pass. side door and looked at the door panel.
    step two tomorrow...get tools to remove window crank handle (screwdriver) and armrest (deep well socket).
