If they wanted a little history they should have named it "Courier" after the small truck of the '70s. Not that any truck today is small no matter if they call it "compact" or not. I had a guy at work come up to me and say "Hey I ordered a Maverick this week, now I've got one too"-:vomito:

That’ll get done faster if you put it in the engine compartment.(y)

There is an entire genre of cooking involving exhaust manifolds. Frozen burritos are best after two hours in the engine compartment. Triple wrap with foil, otherwise they taste strongly of unburnt hydrocarbons (to each their own)

Had a hot dogger on my sled when I rode. First time I used it we were out in nice fresh powder and I started smelling onions. Took a minute to realize lunch was ready. Not much better than a day of fresh snow, mountain air and a hot meal!

Have the week off with the holiday and since it's cool, getting the replacement Espo leaf springs installed to restore ride height, getting the engine computer tucked up under the dash (and off the floor boards), and contemplating how to get shock tower bracing installed over the 5.0l EFI engine so I can finally get this into the alignment shop.

Went and looked at a very solid 70 maverick. Working on a deal for it right now but will likely swap some cash and parts for it. Then went back and met up with a fellow maverick enthusiast from GA who drove down and sold him some much needed parts. Then went and cut out the cowl on one of my parts cars. The car is rotten as can be but the cowl is surprisingly solid! Pretty productive day overall.

Finally made the Comet scoop somewhat functional.
