Hey all. My 71 grabber was orig. a column shifter, but was changed over to a floor shifter with a B&M (shift cable). I was going to change it to a floor shifter with an original shifter off a 74 (linkage). Should this be a problem from going from 74 to 71? I wasnt sure if the had floor shifters on the 71's.
Any and all help will be greatly appriciated!!

    THANKS!

It will bolt in with no problems. You will have to drop the valve body in the trans and flip the shift arm 180 degrees to use the mechanical linkage.

i made a adaptor for mine did not have to drop the pan, this just slid the adapter over the shaft, and i hooked my linkage to it. works great.
