honda wheel on comet

    curiosity got me! i wanted to see how my daughter 2012 civic wheels fit on comet.

    civic wheel are 16 x 6.5
    tire are 205/55/16

    back spacing on those wheels are 6 inch, they,ll work on rear but not on front without spacers.

    wheel sits too far inward and hit tyrod.

    fyi!!! silly me for trying this.

    mostly they don't fit because as you found out, too much back spacing.
    interesting tho that the bolt spacing was the same.
    the 205/55/16 on the front would have been an interesting look.

    I did it with my wife's Altima just to see how the tire filled out the wheel arch. The car had tiny 14s on it and the Altima tires were 3 or 4 inches larger in diameter. No intention running them and it settles a guys curiousity so why not.

    dead giveaway is 5 x 114.3 is same bolt pattern as 5 x 4.5
