88D98932-0F2A-4068-8C53-FD1981582AD3.jpeg I have these old second generation mustang bullet mirrors, and wanted to get some general opinions on whether I should put them on my 1973 four door.

I really dig the style, but then again if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Wouldn’t mind that sportier look. :scratchchin:

    what do y’all think? thanks!

Wouldn't be bad I would think. I have factory sport mirrors on my Grabber that are similar.

IIRC the base sits at a different angle than the stock Maverick/Comet ones.

Like stated, I think you will find the "angle" of the mirror to be slightly off.

AFAIK the only difference in any of those mirrors is the base. Due to different door curvatures, angles vary from model to model.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I will probably sit on it and see if I can maybe find some Grabber ones when they pop up.

There is a set on ebay, or there was not to long ago. You can find repo sets too. Not sure of their quality though. I myself have been looking at reproduction skinny bumpers for my 74'.
