Your best bet is to go to an exhaust shop and have them custom bend it and install.

quite the helpful bunch no? instead of actually awnsering your question, you get "your best bet would be to"... and then whatever they would do.. LoL... i have no exhaust either in my 76 4 door i'm rebuilding... have the exhaust manifolds (thanks inline6)...i just need all the tubing... i'm going to go check out granada's and fairlanes from 76-88... maybe even some mustang ones

Mustang exhaust won't work.....different undersides. You should be able to get some of the exhaust pipes from a NAPA or auto parts stores, but finding something that works from another car, without some fixing, will be tricky. These folks are trying to be helpfull, just hope you can appreciate and use the advice they have given you.

Auto Zone here has a whole rack of exaust tubes in all diffrent lengths and sizes, includeing the U shapped one that goes over the rear axle. Just get a few measurements and go buy the tubes you need. Then you can either use the exaust clamps or weld the pipes together. This is how I did my grandpa's old F150.

It is possible to buy/bend/cut/clamp/weld your own exhaust system up, but In My Opinion it is much simpler to have someone who does that sort of thing for a living to do it for you. I don't know of any cars that will just bolt right up under a Maverick......unless it's a Comet  Good Luck, Preston

Once upon a time I had an early Mustang exhaust kit on mine. Everything fit ok until I got to the tail pipes. They were angled differently (up or down  , don't remember). Had to cut and weld to get them right. For the next exhaust I got a custom bent system at a local muffler shop. Considering the time and aggravation I spent installing the kit I would recommend the custom pipes.

I sure wish someone would offer a Mandrel Bent exhaust system kit for our cars.

Yes, have it done at an exhaust shop. I work for Midas & have dual exhaust on both my Comet 302's. I have turbo mufflers & stock manifolds on the 74 4dr. Has a nice growl to it. The 73 2dr has headers & performance mufflers. Very loud when you get on it.....Plus, you can have them exit the tailpipes where ever you want. Just my 2 cents.......
