9" rear

    I was at a drag race last weekend and a gentleman was admiring my car. He stated that he owned a 1974 Maverick which was a six cylinder car and was one of four that came from the factory with a nine inch differential. Any takers on this statement??

    He probably meant it came with 9" brakes.

    If you can fit a socket on all the nuts holding the pumpkin in, it is an 8".
    If you have to use an open end wrench on the bottom two located under the pumpkin, it is a 9". Easiest way to tell the difference. :thumbs2:
