Just picked up my first classic. A 1974 Comet with a 302. I've been hunting for one of these for around 6 months and this one just came up for a great price around an hour from me.

It's just the right amount of broken for the project I wanted. Runs and drives, but only just. After getting it home and doing a more thorough inspection, it's a little rougher than expected, but still manageable.

My plan is to restore it to reliable running condition, and to drive it as a weekender. Not looking for a perfect restoration back to factory. First thing I'm tackling is pulling out the transmission for a rebuild, then I'll work on tuning the engine.
