    Will these fit?

I have read MANY articles on here about rims, backspacing, and offset. But the answer I was looking for didnt come right out and bite me, so i guess the easiest way would be to ask you guys straightup whether or not the mags im looking at will fit.
I have a 71 grabber with original drums and no Mods to anything near the fenders.
    Looking at:
    Front - 15x7 225/60/15 backspace 4" offset 0
    Back - 15x8 245/60/15 backspace 4" offset -12

Im ready to purchase the rims and tires as soon as I get some feedback. You guys have always been a huge help for me!
    Thanks!

both rims will work as long as you have the right bolt pattern, if its a 5 bolt car i believe the bolt pattern in 5x4.5 i have no idea what the bolt pattern is for a 4 bolt car

Yeah, I know the bolt pattern is 5-4 1/2.

Now would I be able to get a 255/60 tire on the back with these rims without doing any modificatoins?

255-60-15's will fit.. some say 275-60-15's will fit also... my tire and rim specialist says 275's will so he has a set mounted on 15x8-- 4in offset so I will try later on this year... these are off his challanger... he says he has put 275's on a 71 comet with no rubbing problems... I will find out later... good luck:)

By the way, they are American Racing mag wheels, "Tailgunners". they are a 'truck' rim, but they look like they will look pretty good on the Maverick. Any input on this?
Anything at this point will be an improvement... right now I have wheels that dont match and are a bit rusty.
