    A quick look down their list, they say a 71-72 Mustang ignition switch will fit 70-77 Maverick. 70 Maverick ignition switch was a one year only deal, different than later years.

    1970 is a odd ball, period. Torino is different as well. I suspect applies across Ford line.

    I quit reading the moment I read, "introduced April 17 1970, six years to day after Mustang.
