Hi Harrison, welcome to the board. Craig was right - where you had posted was an old thread. I moved your question to a new thread of your own. More people will see it here and it is the right way to post questions. Many stock engine owners have found an easy upgrade is to just put in a Pertronix unit to get rid of the points. It is easy and keeps the look of a stock distributor. Of course there are lots of aftermarket options. Keep us posted on your progress. We love pictures here so post some of your upgrade.
