Been waiting to see if I am the winner of the old fart's medal. 25th July----um lets see, gas, tires, and food ration stamps. Steam engines on troop trains, No Platte Nebraska, canteen for the fighting men on the trains. Hatched out in Montana while folks were helping granddad in his bakery to keep up with demands for the war effort. Henry Ford had just produced the ---- Ford coupe, std. or deluxe model. That's right, nineteen hundred and forty. Do I win the coveted, toilet seat trophy?

    ???you born

I was born in 1956, grew up outside of Detriot. Grew up mostly with chevy's, my dad work for a company that sold to GM. Had several Corvair's over the years, work for a Ford dealer for a couple of years when the Maverick was fading out and the Granada was coming in. Drop a Maverick around for company business though. I now have a 1974 4dr Maverick that i got for free. Now it time to have fun figuring out how to fix a rats nest of a wiring problem. So i guess that it will be awhile before its on the road. I got it for my 16 yr old daughter. I thought with the amount of meat in it, it would be a good fisrt car. Well, gotta go and look at wiring diagrams.
