Well the guy just called me about the maverick grabber. I left a note in the door yesterday. He will sale it but wants to keep the engine and tranny, 302 c4 stall, to put into a pinto. Well he doesnt seem to keep up with what he has he offered it to me for 300-400 bucks.....WOOOOOHOOOO and it has the Grabber hood and has a clear title stating maverick grabber. it is a 1970 also.:bananaman Guess I will have to decide which one to start on first this 1970 grabber or the 1973 grabber in the garage...I need a bigger garage. Robert
yep i kinda figured it was modified, he had the grill lights in it too. But still 300-400 isnt bad i wouldnt think.....shoot what is a grabber hood going for these days, no cheap. But hey I add to my collection 1 by 1. Robert
70 grabber Robert how far are you from Memphis? Sounds like a good deal either way. ...Jim The more imports I see....the more I love my maverick
Hey Robert Hey Robert, I used to live in Lenoir City back in 92, I lived right off of Turkey Creek Rd. I had a cellular telephone store called The Wireless Warehouse in Farragut. Man I miss Knoxville, great scenery..........I also miss the BB-Q at Calhouns, is it still there? I can still taste it.......mmmmmm....time for a road trip. :bananaman
Doing more junkyard pullin this saturday Yep we now have 3 calhouns around now. I am going back up on the mountain saturday morning to get more parts Even if i can't use them now, can't stand to see them crushed but I don't have the room to store entire cars. Going to get the 74/75 front bumper(looks great), rear glass and trim, full set of disc brakes, and some front fenders, doors........... hope it all fits in the truck. Since he is crushing them he is almost giving the parts away, so I am going to get all I can. If anyone is around knoxville you are welcome to go. Robert
