    Thanks all ... no .. wasn't me. I was chatting with both the owner the car and the guy who's shop did the restoration of the SuperBird that went for $142,000.

    It was nice! Bought originally by a 16 year old kid with his paper route money. They had serious documentation including a ticket that was issued to the original owner when he had an accident and wrecked the front nose.

    I asked him if he was gonna get his money out of it .. He said he hopes so ... he was offered $135,000 plus and extra $15,000 to cover the commission ... total $150,000 and that was with no hemi. Turns out the offer was a better deal than what it sold for because he had to pay BJ 8% of the $142,000 ... oh well.

    FYI ... No Mavericks there ...
