I know I've been really bad about not putting up any pictures of my cars. Yesterday I finally went out with the Camera phone and got a few pictures. The gray primered car is the 77 maverick. The brown with white top is the 76 Comet. I was looking at the 73 though, what do you guys think, is it worth saving? I'll post pics of some of the rust spots its got. The inside of the doors are rusted away, theres a hole in the floor behind the passenger seat. Both windows have rust behind them. There's a hole in the trunk next to the passenger fender. I just don't wanna part it out...but I also don't have a lot of hope for getting that much work done.

    Nice....

I hope I dont sound to negative but.....If you are seeing that much rust on the 73, then it is probably not worth saving unless you have a lot of sentimental value on it. Usually you can see about half the rust in a car from the outside...once you get into it you will find a bunch more. I would put my effort into the other cars, they look to be in much better shape. Great collection....where did you get them all.

Chrissy kind od hard to tell from th epics, but it looks liek the 73 maybe time to go on the doners list. Save the chrome around the wheel wells $$$ The Dark brown/white top looks like it's in decent shape. The 72 that's the one you brought up to PA correct?.

Hey CometPrincess, If you do get rid of the 73 I could use the bumper guards and maybe the front bumper depending on there condition.

Jpollard - The 73 has no sentimental value or anything, and yea I think there's more rust than I can see. And it does have pieces that would save the others. I've just gotten them from around Florida. The 76 I got from this guys daughter he passed away after putting a lot into restoring it. The 72 has a great story behind it, is a one owner from a little old lady. The rest were just cars that were beat on and no one wanted.

Russ - Yes the 72 is the one that went to PA. It was in a lot better shape then wasn't it? It hasn't moved in over a year now. The 76 top is painted... I dunno if you can tell in the pic but it's different from the 72's painted top, it looks like a vinyl from a distance.

Scrapper - I think the one in the weeds is gonna get put on the road soon here. I was debating between that and the 73 but as you can see the 73 isn't safe to drive. The 77 only been sitting about a month, weed's just grow real fast here.

I really need to go get into school for auto technology and get going on fixing these cars up. Give me some motivation guys lol. I just keep collecting instead of fixing, and now I'm realizing all the damage that's occuring while they sit.

I'll keep you in mind. I think the front bumper is just some minimal surface rust... Funny thing about that car the front end is great and the back is horrible... How's that happen?
