Well, i've just about got the car back together and have mady lots of changes. Last year the car went 6.35 @ 112 mph. The mph is way high so I know the car was spinning, 112 mph is usually a 5.9? run. I've got an entirely new suspension under the car, including fiberglass mono-leafs in the rear. New wheels and tires all the way around, the front wheel/tires dropped 24 lbs on there own!!!!!:D I will keep everyone posted on my progress in SSCA Real Street competition!!!

good luck to you this season. when is your first race? i ran the first points race at tucson on feb 1st. had everything figured out and changed my plan at the starting line. (first round) every time i change something at the last it comes back to bite me in the a$$. i had a lousy light because of it and passed the guy just before the finish line and broke out by .002. oh well, i still felt good about the car. it just needed a driver. ran first points race at firebird in phoenix on feb 16th. driver did his job this time and won the race. i go back to tucson this weekend for the 2nd tucson and the following weekend is the 2nd at firebird. this years et finals are at tucson and we are only allowed one team so spots are going to be at a premium. last year we towed to fallon, nev. (19 hours). we couldn,t fill a team there. :p

There are actually two classes that I want to get competetive in this year, one is SSCA Real Street which I may have a hard time due to the fast times that the cars are achieving. The fastest i've seen so far is a 5.65 and I can't remember the mph but it was in the 120's !! The other class is a 5.99 "heads up" index class that runs on a pro tree. The first index race is March 8th and 9th. The first real street race is April 6. I also added a trans brake this year, I probably won't use it when running in the 5.99 index class. I can't wait to get to the track!!!!!!!!!:D

I was just kidding around, I know they'll let you run that light in the bracket classes but in the heads up classes that i'm used to they make you run a minimum of 3000 lbs. I'd like to feel mine at 2400 lbs.:D
