so let me get this straight..
65-66 stang springs work on a mav.
    but 67 and up dont?

i see that Mustangs Plus sells a coil spring, upper insulator, and spring perch combo for mustangs for $110
id like to order it....but i need to know if it will work for sure.

im redoing all the front suspension....i have everything else....all i need now is the spring and perch/bushing.....(i know....shoulda bought a kit with everything)
    ohwell....

its the other way around the 67-73 will work.. i had the same question when i was doing mine.

$110 is a good price.. i bought mine from mustangs unlimited and it was way more! but i just got a flyer from mustangs plus today and they have the same $110 set up for $99 now! if you didn't get it the flyer use the advertising tracking code for 0505RD

you can use that 67 / 68 .. you just need to relocate where the bar mounts a bit forward.. i have a 67 / 68 on my car now but just to lazy to relocate it. the endlinks are not right up and down they edge to the outside a bit.

addco makes one for the maverick but its 7/8 i think and the mustang ones are 1 inch

I have a '65-'66 1 1/8th inch, the width was the same, but from end link to the front was longer on a Mustang, mine lean backwards a little, still plan on relocating the mounts, havent had the chance yet.

65 & 66 Mustang springs are the same part number as a Mav, later Mustang springs are different. But the rest of the Mav suspension parts; control arms, ball joints, saddles, etc. are the same as 67 - 73 Mustang.

I don't know about the 67-73 springs but I have 1966 Mustang 6 cylinder springs on mine and they fit perfectly in the saddles.
