    Headed out of St. Louis in the morning (Sat. 7th) and headed for Alabama. Gonna stop over in Louisville and meet up with Maverick5946 and 71Mavlouisville while in route. Really looking forward to that!! (y) Then I fly into Birmingham and I'll drive to Guin, Al. Anybody around that area?? Let me know tonight or in the morning. Reason I am posting all of this is that I'll be away from the computer for a coupla weeks while I'm working. After two weeks in Alabama, I'll head back closer to home (New Orleans) (y) I think I'm actually gonna take a few days off and enjoy the French Quarters...:clap:......anybody wanna come?? :evilsmile Anyway, just trying to cram as much in as I can before I go to Iraq. Yep, I did decide to go. I'll be working over there for at least a year.......but if I like it I may make a career out of it....:huh: I'll have a 'pooter over there though. Y'all will hafta suffer me once again.......:lolup::clap: Anyway, y'all take care- I think of y'all as extended family, so I'll miss you folks!! Try to behave!! :biglaugh:;) Preston

    Hey Countrymav, your gonna be about 30 miles from my house! I'm gone thru the week in the truck but am usually home on Saturdays. Drop me a pm and I'll send you my phone number and maybe we could get together one Saturday while your in Bama. Scrapper60 lives about 60 miles north of Guin, like I said, I live about 30 miles south of there.

    Man I can't belive you don't know where Guin is if you have lived in Bama any length of time! Guin is in Marion county, at the crossroads of US 43 and US278, about 60 miles north of Tuscaloosa, 60 miles south of Florence, in the west side of the state. From Demopolis you could get on US43 North and follow it thru Tuscaloosa, Fayette, Winfield, Gu-Win and then into Guin. Simple, eh? Glad to know you're another member of the Bama nation!

    278 goes from B'ham to Auburn, right? its been awhile...

    and I've lived here for all of my 26 years, never heard of Guin... its funny, my family is from various areas north of Tuscaloosa, still don't have a clue... lol
