I'm kinda interested in putting traction bars on my 72 Maverick, but I don't know where to find some. Also, I know that it's been discussed before, but where could I find a front spoiler for my mav? Another thing, are there any other spoilers that bolt on that will work on a Mav and look right? Rear ones I mean. Thanks, ya'll

I 'm using a pair of universal chrome lakewood slapper bars, seem to help, but probably not the best, but they were in my budget, and I've had good luck with'em on other fords!

Preston If you pickup a copy of mustang and fords there is always an add in there from MAS that sells the front spoiler.....also I do believe JC whitney lists one also......

If you have the dollars to spend I'm going to have to recomend Cal-Tracs. I think they are the best on the market for racing.

My Cal-Tracs come are supposed to come in tomorrow.

Off topic a little: I want to re-set my pinion angle at 3-5 deg at the same time I'm putting the tracs on.

Q: Isn't the engine/tranny supposed to angle downward (towards the rear) by the same amount? If so, I assume this is done by "adjusting" the hieght of the tranny mount to X-member (race only application)?

I got the SSM bars also. Works great with a 9" swapperd in, the bolt spaing can fit 8 ot 9" u-bolts and they have their own mount for the shock.
