Went to Owensboro Friday. Met with Maxx Levell. Thanks a bunch Tom(y)
Anyways, visited the 2 restaurants that we will eat at Friday and Saturday. Went to the drag strip. They have made a lot of changes and the track really looks good. Also went to the hotel and visited with them. I am really getting excited about it :bananaman
Looks like we are going to have a lot of people there on Wednesday. There is already 21 rooms reserved for Wednesday.
    31- Thursday
    34- Friday
    * Also, for those that get there REAL early. Tuesday night at the local Texas Roadhouse there will be a live radio show broadcast which "we" will cruise our cars up to and get some "airtime" to promote the car show for Saturday.
Get your reservations.....or you will miss out on a great VACATION with great people and these great cars (y)

    Dennis,

I think it's around 7 or 8 pm. It's a local radio racing talk show. It actually has quite a following. We've been invited by the guy who does the show to attend and bring as many of the cars with us as we have. It will give us a chance to "talk up" the Round-Up to local folks who may be interested in coming by and checking out our cars.

I'm going to go so we can get the word out. Maybe drum up some interest.

    Later,

PS...Had a good time hanging out with John and checking things out. Looks to me like this is going to be a pretty good way to spend a week! Can't wait to see everyone! Don't wait to make your reservations folks, and don't forget to bring your kids along.

Rick, the timing is terrible for me. The round-up is on the last 2 business days of the month which is my busiest days of the month. I'm having a hard enough time getting them to let me go Thur and Fri. I've got to spend Wed doing all my work for 3 days. Closing the end of the month out for a dealership is all about numbers and they don't like it when the numbers are low. Anyway, if I do leave Wednesday it would have to be late and I really don't want to drive in the evening after working all day. I wish I could tell you otherwise but for the time being it looks like I'll be heading out early Thursday.
