Just a quick one guys...are the 6-cylinder and V-8 kick-down rods the same? I don't have a V-8 one to compare with the 6-cylinder one!

    Thanks,

I am going from memory here, but I believe they are different. I have owned to 72's with automatics, one a 6, the other an 8. I believe the 6 banger one is longer. I could be wrong though. lol

    Speaking of kickdowns.....

Where can I find a cheap kickdown kit? I've got an edelbrock 600 and a c4 trans.

I know there is a kit made by edelbrock but I was'nt sure how well it would hookup to my trans.

I tried the Eddlebrock on a friends car. The EB carb is wide to begin with and with their kickdown kit, it stuck out so far it wouldnt clear his valve covers. He did have the taller Ford Motorsport valve covers though. It would probably fit ok on stock ones.

If I decide to put it back on, I will need the V-8 one. It's laying around the shop somewhere, but danged if I can put my hands on it right now! I'm going to be running an Edelbrock carb also, so it might not even be an issue.

    Thanks,
